Geometry Node

Class Name: Geometry Node

Superclass - <Geometry Topology>

Subclasses

This DRM class is concrete and has no subclasses.

Definition

An instance of this DRM class specifies a topological attribute that identifies a significant place, or the connecting point of higher-dimensional topological attribute(s). It is the component of one (or more) objects that have a single Location. The location of a Geometry Node is the same location as the spatially located object of which the node is a component.

Example

  1. The endpoints of a <Geometry Edge> representing part of the lighting of a runway are specified by <Geometry Node> instances.

Ellipse

The given <Geometry Node> instance corresponds to the <Location>
representing the centre of each <Ellipse>.

Geometry_Edge

The other half of this relationship is supplied by the
 <Geometry Edge> component of the <Geometry Node>.

Geometry_Face

This is the <Geometry Face> that contains the given <Geometry Node>,
 if one exists.

Geometry_Volume

 The <A CLASS="Geometry_Volume">Geometry Volume</A> that
 contains the <A CLASS="Geometry_Node">Geometry Node</A>,
