APPENDIX A - Classes TM Augmented 3D Location |
---|
An instance of this DRM class specifies a 3D coordinate for an SRF based on the Transverse Mercator SRFT.
See 8.5.21 Transverse Mercator SRFT of ISO/IEC 18026 for a complete definition.
SRFs derived from the Transverse Mercator SRFT are often used to describe areas that have greater north-south than east-west extent, and that distortion of scale, distance, direction and area increase away from the central meridian.
Consider an <Environment Root> instance R specifying as its srf_context_info the SRF instance SRM_SRFCOD_BRITISH_NATIONAL_GRID_AIRY. The British National Grid uses an SRF derived from the Transverse Mercator SRFT, so any <Location 3D> instance in the component tree of R is a <TM Augmented 3D Location> instance.
See the SRM for additional details.
SRM_Map_Projection_3D_Coordinate | coordinate; | 1 |

The coordinate field specifies the set of coordinate-component values.
