EC Location 2D

Class Name: EC Location 2D

Superclass - <Location 2D>

Subclasses

This DRM class is concrete and has no subclasses.

Definition

An instance of this DRM class specifies a coordinate within the Equidistant Cylindrical (EC) 2D Spatial Reference Frame (SRF).

See [I18026] for a complete definition.

Example

  1. Consider a SEDRIS transmittal constructed from a MultiGen OpenFlight database. The transmittal contains an <Environment Root>, the ORM of which is MultiGen Flat Earth, so its srf_parameters field is specified in Equidistant Cylindrical with horizontal_datum SRM_HDATUM_SPHERICAL_MFE (MultiGen "flat Earth" horizontal datum).

    An <EC Location 2D> within this spatial reference frame might have coordinate.x = 30.0, coordinate.y = 50.0
