APPENDIX B - Constraints
Parallelepiped Structure

Definition

For a <Parallelepiped Volume Extent> instance P, the following conditions shall hold.

  1. The <Reference Vector> components of P shall comply with the restrictions imposed in the specification of the <Parallelepiped Volume Extent> class.

  2. The relative orientations of the <Reference Vector> components of P shall specify a parallelepiped volume.

Rationale

A <Parallelepiped Volume Extent> instance shall comply with the definition of its class in order to specify a parallelepiped volume.

Example

  1. No two <Reference Vector> components of a <Parallelepiped Volume Extent> instance may be parallel.
