Definition

An instance of this DRM class specifies a surface coordinate for an SRF based on the Transverse Mercator SRFT.

Example

  1. The British National Grid uses the TM Surface SRF. The TM Surface SRF is often used to describe areas that have greater north-south than east-west extent, and that distortion of scale, distance, direction and area increase away from the central meridian.
