The SEDRIS Data Representation Model
APPENDIX A - Classes Same As Geometry Edge |
---|
An instance of this DRM class indicates that two or more <Geometry Edge> instances are the same <Geometry Edge>, so that the topologies they are a part of may be joined together by an application.
Consider a <Geometry Model> representing one lane of a road, containing a <Geometry Edge> corresponding to a line of lights. Consider two instances of this <Geometry Model> that are instanced to represent opposing lanes on the same road. Each of the actual <Geometry Edge> lane representations in the <Geometry Model> has a <Geometry ID> with a <Geometry ID Control Link>, so that when the lane model is instanced, the instanced lanes can be uniquely identified, and <Same As Geometry Edge> information can be provided to specify which representations actually correspond to the same environmental entity.
No FAQs supplied.
This is the <Geometry Edge> for which the given <Same As Geometry Edge> instance is specifying <Geometry ID> instances identifying other <Geometry Edge> instances that correspond to the same spatial entity.
