The SEDRIS Data Representation Model
APPENDIX A - Classes Same As Feature Face |
---|
An instance of this DRM class indicates that two or more <Feature Face> instances are the same <Feature Face>, so that the topologies they are a part of may be joined together by an application.
Consider a <Feature Model> representing a room, containing a <Feature Face> corresponding to a wall. Consider two instances of this <Feature Model> that are instanced to represent two rooms sharing a common wall. Each of the actual <Feature Face> wall representations in the <Feature Model> has a <Feature ID> with a <Feature ID Control Link>, so that when the room model is instanced, the instanced walls can be uniquely identified, and <Same As Feature Face> information can be provided to specify which representations actually correspond to the same environmental entity.
A <Feature Face> that is shared by two <Feature> instances representing books placed on top of each other.
No FAQs supplied.
This is the <Feature Face> for which the given <Same As Feature Face> instance is specifying <Feature ID> instances identifying other <Feature Face> instances that correspond to the same spatial entity.
