This application allows the user to visualize the geometry (including colours, textures, level-of-detail, state, articulated parts, and shading) of the <Model Library> of the given transmittal in a 3D window, as well as any <Images> in the <Image Library> of that transmittal. In a separate text window, the user can view the hierarchical structure of any model (including data values), as well as the current viewing parameters. The software runs on Win32, SunOS, Irix and Linux platforms. The GLUT libraries are required to compile and run this application. This program is limited to viewing Model instances in the <Model Library>, and images in the image library. Other data such as <Data Tables>, features, geometry under <Environment Root> instances, and topology are not viewable with this program. Also, this program is strictly a viewer; editing of the data is not supported by this application.

1.3 | For Additional Information on SEDRIS
This document is part of a larger set of overview and technical documents on SEDRIS, the Technology Documentation Set. The Technology Documentation Set describes the why, what, and how of SEDRIS. The Technology Documentation Set, listed below, is available at the SEDRIS web site (www.sedris.org). An overview of the contents of each "part" of the documentation set is provided in Part 1. A detailed description of the individual "volumes" contained in Part 4 is provided in Volume 1.

1.4 | Document Conventions and Notations
Throughout the SEDRIS Technology Documentation Set, special conventions and notations are implemented in the written text of documents to distinguish between and add emphasis to various computer-related or SEDRIS-specific terms. The table below defines these conventions and notations.
