APPENDIX B - Constraints
Face Ring Edge Consistency

Definition

The following constraints apply:

  1. For each consecutive <Feature Edge> instance within a <Feature Face Ring> instance, and for each consecutive <Geometry Edge> instance within a <Geometry Face> instance, the <Edge Direction> link object shall be consistent with the starting and ending nodes of the edge.

  2. A <Feature Edge> instance shall appear no more than twice in a <Feature Face Ring> instance, once with each orientation.

  3. A <Geometry Edge> instance shall appear no more than twice in a <Geometry Face> instance, once with each orientation.
