The UPS SRF is a derivation of the PS SRF that specifies the values of two of the PS SRF parameters (scale and meridian) for use by U.S. Department of Defense information systems and maps. The UPS SRF relates to the PS SRF in much the same way that each of the UTM SRFs individually relate to the TM SRF.
